The COVID19 pandemic has and will continue to change the way we live our lives. Change is often not easy to process or implement, but we will and must process and implement this change at all costs.
With Government moving certain sectors from Level 5 to Level 4, we have started putting measures in place for when we do return to work on the 4th of May. We are allowed to operate on the basis that only 50% of our staff may return to work. We however need to adhere to strict protocol ensuring that we curb the spread of the virus when business resumes. This is not only for the safety of our employees, but also for Suppliers, delivery people, contractors and the wellbeing of their families.
Therefore, it will be mandatory for all visiting our respective plants, to wear masks before and upon entering our plant. Be informed that people not wearing a mask, will not be allowed to enter onto our site.
All contractors entering our respective sites will be required to present legal operating permits and follow strict health & safety protocol.
Furthermore, please note that for the foreseeable future, no suppliers meetings will be allowed to take place face to face unless authorised by our Executive Management. We need to make use of the available technological resources, i.e. teleconferencing or video calls in conducting business. This will further reduce the spread of the virus and ensure the safety of all in the supply chain.
During this time, we will need to work with one another as to ensure the safety of self, staff and our families.
