Supreme Spring identified the risk of batching after short peening as a cause of flush rust formationon on the coils. A decision was made to extend the paint line conveyor past the exits of the peeners. This lead to better one piece flow and decreased the time between powder coating and short peening and mitigate the possibility of flush rust formation after short peening. Supreme Spring selected Conveytrac as the preferred supplier.
